Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie outlines plans to prioritize education in Edo state

In a recent interview, Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie, the gubernatorial candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in Edo state, revealed his plans to prioritize education and human capital development if elected into office.

Aikoriogie emphasized the critical role education plays in building a strong foundation for the development of individuals and the society as a whole. He stated that the NRM administration will focus on building good infrastructure to aid education and create a culture where parents will choose to enroll their wards in public institutions.

“We want to create a culture where parents will remove their wards and bring them into public schools,” Aikoriogie said. “We will ensure that these institutions have the necessary resources and facilities to provide quality education to all students.”

Additionally, Aikoriogie pledged to train teachers and ensure they are well paid, in order to attract and retain qualified educators in Edo state. He emphasized the importance of investing in teachers to guarantee a high standard of education for all students.

“We believe that investing in education is crucial for the future development of our state. By prioritizing education and human capital development, we can create a more knowledgeable and skilled workforce that will drive economic growth and prosperity in Edo state,” Aikoriogie added.
