The National Rescue Movement (NRM) gubernatorial candidate, Dennis Aikoriogie, has revealed his health agenda for Edo State, prioritizing the revitalization of the state’s healthcare system.
Aikoriogie in an interview on “Talking With The Stars” show with Isi Negbenebor, lamented the current state of healthcare in Edo, citing inadequate facilities and equipment.
In his words:
The NRM candidate emphasized the need for functional primary health care centers in all 192 wards and standard general hospitals in each senatorial district, in addition to collaborating with the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
Aikoriogie’s outlined his health agenda to include:
– Revamping primary health care centers and general hospitals
– Equipping hospitals with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment
– Ensuring adequate funding and personnel for healthcare services
– Improving healthcare access and affordability for all Edo citizens
The NRM flagbearer while expressing his commitment to transforming Edo State’s healthcare system, said:
“My vision is to provide quality healthcare services for all Edo people, and I am dedicated to making this a reality.”
