Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie, the gubernatorial candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in Edo state, has unveiled his plans to improve electricity in the state, with the aim of achieving 24-hour power supply.
During a recent interview, Dr. Aikoriogie highlighted the importance of uninterrupted electricity in driving industrialization and economic growth in Nigeria. He mentioned that Abia state has successfully implemented 24-hour electricity supply and he plans to replicate this success in Edo state if elected as the next governor.
“We intend to have 24 hours because we note that Nigeria requires 24 hours electricity to help industrialization,” said Dr. Aikoriogie. “Abia state has done it and we are going to also do it in Edo state.”
With inadequate electricity supply being a major challenge in Edo state, Dr. Aikoriogie’s commitment to improving the situation has been welcomed by residents and stakeholders alike.
